about

First track from Rónán Ó Snodaigh's new album SOS {meaning rest}
Can Am means Sing Time;

Rónán O Snodaigh's new album SOS (meaning rest in Irish) see's Rónán working with Californian musician/dj/producer Pete Ruotolo to produce an album of songs, which weave in and out of folk, hip hop and pop to arrive at a full sound of sparkle and bounce.
Rónán has been synonymous with writing and singing in the Irish language and with enlisting different and always really high caliber, musicians to join him on his solo projects. This album combines the two with great results. The quality and confidence of the music surrounding the raw and unusual beauty of the Irish vocals makes this album a completely different proposition from the norm and yet accessible for all to get into, feel and enjoy.

Joining Rónán are Pete (Pamf) Ruotolo on Guitar, Nick (Crowded House) Seymour on bass, Liam Ó Maonlaí on piano, Stephen Mogerley on Double Bass and Conor Murray on Drum Kit.
